Anxiety
You're functioning well, showing up, making things happen. Externally, everything looks just fine
But internally, you can’t quite relax or get good sleep. You find yourself easily annoyed with your partner over nothing and you don’t look forward to the weekend any more. The work week ends and you can’t find a way to unwind. Anxiety presents like this for a lot of the people I work with.
Anxiety is the number one thing people name when they first call me. Not because it’s the whole story, but because it’s become physically and psychologically too hard to ignore.

What Anxiety Is Actually Telling You
In my work, anxiety is a signal. It’s the body’s way of telling you something is out of balance. You’ve had to manage or shut down difficult feelings to make things work for your business, for your people, for your family and it takes an enormous toll to hold everything together indefinitely.
When stress takes over, it alters your heart rate, alters your breathing and keeps your brain ruminating – trying to problem solve, trying to fix. Pushing through relentlessly can put your system on overload, but relief is possible. It comes from understanding and clarifying the sources of this anxiety.

I work with individuals that want to identify sources of stress and anxiety. We use a structured, collaborative process to identify reactions that create stress. Once we understand the problem, those established patterns that keep you feeling stressed and anxious can be reduced.
Sessions are 45 to 60 minutes, typically weekly. Available by phone, Zoom, or in person from anywhere in the US. Everything is completely private. No chart notes, no paper trail. Nothing leaves the room.
You can get on this path in six sessions.
