I specialize in working with people who want to get at the root of their life suffering and emotional distress. Often old patterns (or programmings) can get in the way, blocking us from creating a more satisfying daily life.
Analytically trained (Colorado Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, the Philadelphia School for Psychoanalysis), my approach is informed by affective neuroscience as well as orientations now replaying in trauma work and attachment theory. My education includes a Master’s in Music from the University of Houston, a Master’s in Psychology from Naropa University and a Certification as Psychoanalyst from Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis.
As licensed clinical counselor/supervisor, I have 28 years experience in private practice working with individuals and couples. I also provide supervision for psychotherapists in training (school programs, internships, agencies) and in private practice. Additionally, I have specific interest and experience working with young people/college students.
Finding the right psychotherapist and/or supervisor is essential for this work to succeed. You’re welcome to call or email to find out more and discover if we might be a good fit.
If you’re a young person/college student and you’d like to talk with someone about your current challenges privately (away from school, work, or parents), do make contact and we can see what’s possible.
For your convenience, phone and video consultations are available or if you prefer an in-person meeting, our Boulder office is close to CU campus.
You can’t change things unless you talk about them.
